Paperworks 2013

Paperworks 2013 is an exhibition opportunity for United States artists who use paper as their primary medium or as a substrate. Artists may submit up to six images of work made of, on, or about paper, including cut paper, folded paper, woven paper, glued paper, drawings, paintings, pastels, prints, photographs, paper sculpture, 3D work, bound books, collage, and mixed media.

The entry fee is $35.00, and artists may submit up to 4 applications. Work samples may include up to 6 images and up to 2 videos, with a minimum of 1 total sample required. The judge is Mia Curran, Curatorial Assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Selected works will be exhibited in October 2013 at the B.J. Spoke Gallery. All work must be framed and wired and/or display-ready. Installation pieces must be installed and removed by the artist. Artists are responsible for shipping or conveying their own work to and from the exhibit.
