About This Call
We invite artists, video makers, and filmmakers to submit works that explore the relationship between humans and fragile natural environments. Submissions that integrate meaningful messages and potential solutions within the narrative are encouraged.
Human–Nature Connection
We seek to understand how individuals relate to their environment and the broader implications of climate change and social change through the body and the land. Artists are encouraged to share personal stories through their videos, connecting their experiences with the audience. Given the location of the Museo AAL, where we launched the first edition of the festival, we are particularly interested in narratives that address decentralization and envision a better future for humanity.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Eligibility: Open to all artists (21 and older), video makers, and filmmakers residing on the Tri-State Area (New York New Jersey and Connecticut) & Canada.
Duration: Videos should be a maximum of 5 minutes. Submissions over 5 minutes will not be reviewed.
Resolution: Please ensure that your video has been recorded at a minimum resolution of 720p
(1280x720). Higher resolutions (e.g., 1080p or higher) are acceptable.
