Palmer Park Art Fair 2026

The Palmer Park Art Fair is a high-quality juried art fair in Detroit's mansion district. The 200 acre park is convenient to the city's four wealthiest neighborhoods and runs along Woodward- a major commuter route. This is a boutique art fair, limited to about 60 artists. The residents of these neighborhoods have high incomes and low housing costs so they have disposable income, and attendees prove that high-quality artwork does sell in the city.

Groups have a special participation category that includes groups, guilds, and galleries. For these organizations, a tent with mesh walls is provided. Multiple artists must be included with no one artist dominating, and jewelry as a category cannot exceed 20% of exhibit space. This system is perfect for those just starting out as well as for artists who no longer want the stress and work of carrying a full booth.

Show hours are Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. Setup is Friday 3pm-8pm and Saturday 7am-9am. Booths are at least 11 foot wide and most have additional space behind. Tents, canopies and display walls are available to rent. The application requires 4 images and a booth shot, with no application fee. Emerging artists are accepted.
