About This Call
The Palm Springs Art Festival will return to Uptown Palm Springs on January 17-18, 2026, celebrating its 37th year at Frances Stevens Park. This two-day outdoor celebration of the visual arts typically features the work of 70 exhibitors and includes artwork in two- and three-dimensional mixed media, ceramics, digital, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography, and sculpture. West Coast Artists' mission is to conduct an outdoor fair to promote the original work of artists, craftsmen, painters, sculptors, and photographers, bringing together the artist and the public in informal surroundings to their mutual benefit.
The festival uses a blinded jury process with professionals from the art community reviewing four images from each artist, with artistic excellence as the sole criterion for selection. Artists must submit 5 images total - 4 individual pieces and 1 booth shot showing overall continuity and presentation. The application deadline is October 24, 2025, with a $25 non-refundable jury fee. Booth spaces accommodate 10' x 10' or 10' x 20' display tents with white canopies required, and electricity is not provided.
Accepted artists pay booth fees of $400 for 10' x 10' spaces or $650 for 10' x 20' spaces, plus a 10% commission on all sales. Artists must be present for the entire event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and exhibit only original work - no imports, commercial, or purchased-for-resale items are permitted. Overnight security is provided, and artists must be at least 16 years old to participate.
