About This Call
The Palisade Fine Art Festival will take place September 27 & 28 at Veterans' Memorial Park in Palisade, Colorado, just 2 blocks from downtown with plenty of free parking. The festival runs 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday, taking place during prime fall colors season. Palisade is located on Colorado's Western Slope, 20 minutes from Grand Junction and near the Colorado National Monument and Grand Mesa.
Accepted categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing/printmaking, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, metal, photography, painting, sculpture, and wood. Artists must submit 4 images of current work plus 1 booth image. All work must be original in concept, design, and execution. No manufactured items, commercial molds, imported goods, mass produced items, or buy-sell merchandise accepted. Reproductions are allowed but at least 50% of wall space must be occupied by original work.
Booth fees include a $10 town business license: single booth (10x10) $385, 1.5 booth (15x10) $560, double booth (20x10) $685, with $50 additional for corner spaces. Non-refundable application fee is $35. All spaces are on grass with no staking allowed - minimum 45lbs weight per tent leg required. Artists retain all sales proceeds and are responsible for collecting sales tax. Artist amenities include free parking, morning coffee and pastries, water bottles, booth sitters, and overnight security.
