About This Call
The Palisade Art Festival will take place September 27-28, 2026 at Veterans' Memorial Park in Palisade, Colorado, located on the Western Slope just 20 minutes from Grand Junction. The park is situated 2 blocks from downtown Palisade with free parking. Hours are 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday. Setup is Friday, September 26.
Artists must submit four images of current work and one booth image representative of their display. Accepted categories include ceramics, crafts, digital art, drawing/printmaking, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, metal, photography, painting, sculpture, wood, and other. The festival does not accept manufactured items, mass-produced work, ceramics cast from commercial molds, or buy/sell items. Artists must be present to exhibit only their own original work. At least 50% of wall space should be occupied by original work.
Booth fees include a $10 town business license. Application fee is $35 (non-refundable). Booth options are: single (10x10) $385, 1.5 booth (15x10) $560, or double (20x10) $685. All booths are on grass and require weights of minimum 45lbs per leg; no staking is permitted. Artists retain all sales proceeds and are responsible for collecting and submitting sales tax. Application deadline is August 1, 2026. Payment deadline is September 1, 2026. Full refunds available until August 15; partial refunds until September 1. No refunds after September 1 for any reason. Overnight security and artist amenities including free parking, coffee, bagels, donuts, and water are provided.
