Paint the Peacock Arts District

The Peacock Arts District (PAD) Mural Program is revitalizing the area by infusing vibrant colors and creativity into its streetscape. With each mural, the district becomes a canvas showcasing artists' talent and beautifying the neighborhood while fostering a sense of pride and identity among residents and visitors.

The program is seeking submissions for a vibrant contemporary mural that will serve as a landmark and symbolize the spirit of the community. The mural should incorporate geometric designs and feature an interactive element where visitors can take selfies, thereby promoting engagement and interaction within the district. The mural will be installed at 607 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL.

Project goals include enhancing the visual appeal of the Peacock Arts District, creating a focal point that reflects the district's identity, and encouraging community engagement through interactive art. Applicants may submit up to two (2) designs for the mural proposal. Designs should be depicted on the wall space to help with understanding what it will look like in actuality. Artists must have experience in creating exterior murals. The budget for this project is $10,000 - $12,000.
