About This Call

Paint A Postcard is an exhibition inviting artists to create postcards using any fine art medium. The theme is seasonal/winter/holiday/Christmas, and postcards must be 6" x 4" (postcard size). Artists may create a series, connect postcards thematically, or add a story, message, or surprise on the back.

Entry is $5 per postcard with a maximum of 20 per person. All entries will be accepted for display in one of the main Cultural Center galleries. Each postcard will be sold for $25, with 100% of sales going to the artist. Any unsold postcards after the holiday will be donated to the local nursing home.

The exhibition is open to all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art (video excluded). Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. The entry deadline is Friday, November 24, 2023. Postcards must be mailed to arrive no later than Saturday, December 2, 2023 at: Paint A Postcard Exhibition, Cultural Center of Cape Cod, 307 Old Main St., South Yarmouth MA 02664.
