Pacific Coast Fog Fest Poster Contest

Sanchez Art Center and the Fog Fest Organizing Group, Inc. invite artists to submit work for the Pacific Coast Fog Fest Poster Contest. The submission period runs April 8 through June 1, 2017. Artists may submit up to three two-dimensional, portrait-oriented original works of art. All fine art visual media may be entered except photography. Suggested themes include coastal, beach, surfing, music, art, mountains, mermaids, and Pacifica's 60th Birthday Celebration. The winning artwork will be used for the official 2017 Pacific Coast Fog Fest poster in two sizes: 11" x 17" and 8.5" x 11". The winning artist will receive a $1,000 prize and may have their original artwork exhibited in Sanchez Art Center's East Gallery.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 or older and must reside or work in one of the following Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma. Entry fee is $15 per image submitted ($15 for one image, $30 for two images, $45 for three images). The deadline is Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 11:00 pm Pacific Daylight Savings Time. Sanchez Art Center and the Fog Fest Organizing Group, Inc. will select the winning artwork. By submitting artwork, the winning artist agrees to allow the Fog Fest Organizing Group, Inc. and Sanchez Art Center to use the submitted art for any purpose related to Fog Fest or Sanchez Art Center without restriction or additional consideration beyond the $1,000 prize. The winning artist will retain the original artwork and digital image but FFOG, Inc. will own the rights to the poster submission for exclusive use as the official Fog Fest poster and for other Fog Fest items and souvenirs.
