About This Call
Ox-Bow School of Art & Artists' Residency offers the Summer Fellowship program for undergraduate seniors and graduate students from competitive schools across the nation. Fellows experience the entire Ox-Bow summer session and live on campus for 13 weeks (May 28-August 24, 2026), during which they provide support labor to the arts non-profit and participate in all areas of campus life.
Fellows are selected based on the merit of their work, commitment to making inspired and innovative art, and stated growth potential at Ox-Bow. Fellowship recipients receive studio space with 24-hour access, bi-weekly stipend for on-campus labor, room and board including 3 meals per day, weekly studio visits with Visiting Artists, opportunity to exhibit work on campus, and opportunity to teach assist a class.
Eligibility requirements: applicants must be undergraduate students in their senior year or graduate students; have a graduation date of December 2025 or later; be at least 21 years old at the start of the fellowship; and have the ability to work in the United States or have a work visa prior to starting work. Application deadline: March 15, 11:59 p.m. ET. Founded in 1910, Ox-Bow is an independent 501(c)(3) arts organization providing year-round education and residency opportunities through in-person and online courses, workshops, publications, and artist talks.
