Own an Original Arts Exhibition

The City of Littleton Fine Arts Board presents the 49th Annual Own an Original Arts Exhibition, open to Colorado residents. The competition awards over $1,800 in cash prizes, with the best of show winner receiving a one-person exhibition the following year. Juror: Tom Lundberg.

All work must be original, produced in the last three years, and not shown in a Denver area juried show in the last two years. Entrants may submit up to three works of art. Entry fee is $30 (non-refundable). All entries must be available for sale. The Fine Arts Board will charge a 25% commission on the sale price of any artwork sold during the exhibit. Artwork will be on display at the Littleton Museum Fine Arts Gallery from November 21, 2014 to January 11, 2015. If accepted, artwork must be delivered to the Museum on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 between 3pm and 7pm. Artwork must be ready to hang with strong wire or proper hanging material (no saw tooth hangers). All accepted entries must have name, contact information, title, and selling price attached.

Awards: Best of Show $1,000, First Place $500, Second Place $250, Third Place $100. Award winners will be notified by phone and introduced at the opening reception on November 20, 2014 from 5:30pm to 7pm. Acceptance and rejection notifications will be sent by mail on or around October 24, 2014. Artwork pickup is Monday, January 12, 2015 from 3pm to 7pm only; artwork not picked up at the specified time will be forfeited and become the property of the City of Littleton.
