Over Drinks!

Dorado 806 Projects, in partnership with St Hildie's Spiked Tonics, invites submissions for an exhibition celebrating cocktails and the beings and happenings that surround the sharing of them. The exhibition explores how celebration, memorialization, friendship, commiseration, promises, dissolution, pomp, escapism, and social revelry are exchanged over cocktails. From ancient Greek salutes to Bacchus and the bar scenes of Caravaggio to contemporary work, alcohol has long served as muse for artistic expression.

Exhibition dates are November 30 - December 10, 2023, with an opening cocktail reception on December 7 from 6-10 PM. The exhibition is curated by Meghan DeRohn. Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 images per submission (no larger than 30" x 30"). Artists must be 21 and over. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Artwork must be display-ready in frames with proper wiring and hardware of professional quality. Accepted media include painting, printmaking, fiber, digital, photography, and sculpture. All artwork selected must remain available for sale for the entirety of the exhibition. Entry deadline is November 21, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
