Outside Office Hours: UW Faculty & Staff Juried Exhibition

Outside Office Hours provides a competitive, curated opportunity for faculty and staff of the University of Wyoming to share their artwork at the University of Wyoming Art Museum. As part of an academic art museum exchange, Florida Atlantic University Galleries Director & Chief Curator Véronique Côté will jury the UW faculty and staff exhibition, while UW Art Museum Director of Curatorial Affairs Michelle Sunset will jury FAU's faculty and staff show. Two artists from each exhibition will be selected to travel to the partner institution to broaden visibility, professional networks, and dialogue.

The exhibition will showcase the diverse and dynamic artistic talents of University of Wyoming faculty and staff, revealing the creative research that unfolds beyond their academic and administrative roles. All staff and faculty are welcome and encouraged to submit their artwork for consideration. Original artwork including paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, graphic design, ceramics, mixed media, or video may be submitted. A maximum of ten works per artist may be submitted for consideration, and works must be created between 2023-2026.

The exhibition runs from April 16 – September 12, 2026 at UWAM, with a partner exhibition at FAU's Schmidt Center Gallery from April 16 – July 17, 2026. Notification of works to be included will be sent by January 23, 2026. Selection will be based on artistic merit, clarity/cohesion of the submission, and feasibility of installation.
