Out of Bounds!

This is a juried exhibition open to artists over 18 years old. Entry fee is $50 for up to 3 paintings, with each additional painting costing $10 (up to 5 paintings for $70). Entry fees are non-refundable, and overpayments will go to the PSWC Scholarship Fund.

Artwork must be 2-dimensional on any surface with a depth of 2 inches or less, weighing less than 10 pounds. Minimum size is 8"x8"; maximum framed size is 48" long by 36" wide. Work must be framed with or without glass but with a finished and sealed surface so no pastel can be removed. Paintings must be wired with D-rings; sawtooth hangers are not accepted. At least 30-50% of the work must include dry pastel (oil pastel is acceptable only as an additional medium) and must be visible. Work must have been completed in the last 3 years. Paintings of nudes will be considered if deemed acceptable for family viewing by the gallery.

Submissions must be entirely the artist's original work and not copied from other artists' work, photos, or publications. Any reference photo used must be taken by the artist. No optical projections, digital assistance, or work produced under instructor supervision is eligible. Submissions will include a description of materials used, substrate, and any unique process. Work cannot have won any award in a national or international open juried show by the submission deadline and cannot be exhibited in any other national or international open juried online show concurrently. Once accepted, works cannot be repriced or withheld from the exhibition under penalty of a two-year exclusion from future juried PSWC exhibitions. One or two entries per artist may be accepted depending on total submissions; there is no guarantee any work will be accepted.

Submit original high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background.
