About This Call
Orange County Creatives Gallery is seeking fresh talent for 2 consecutive months in the gallery. The gallery is located in Laguna Beach, CA and is looking for artists who live within a reasonable driving distance to participate in the life of the gallery.
Member artists receive monthly Art Walk receptions, opening or closing receptions upon entering/leaving the gallery, and the opportunity to host private receptions at no additional fees. Members have walls that are 4 ft wide and 7.5 ft tall (usable space is 46" wide and about 6' tall). Member artists pay a monthly fee to help absorb the cost of advertising and overhead. The gallery uses artists' work in advertisements and promotes both the artists and the gallery. Monthly fees cover opening/closing receptions and First Thursday Art Walk expenses.
Accepted artists will be offered 2 months in the gallery at $100 per month with 40% commission. Applicants must submit 8-12 images that create a cohesive grouping (or 2 groupings) to fill a 44" by 72" wall. Eligibility is regional, limited to California artists. Entry fee is $50.00. Up to 3 applications are allowed per artist.
