Open Theme Exhibition

This open theme exhibition is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. All fine art media will be considered except film. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Artists may submit 1-20 images, with an entry fee of $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

The show runs from January 13 through February 28, 2021. JPEGs are due by December 11, 2020. Artists will be notified of acceptance by January 1, 2021. Local drop-off of work is available on Monday, January 11 between noon-5pm. Work being shipped must arrive by Monday, January 11 and no sooner than Monday, January 4, 2021. An Open House will be held on Saturday, January 16 from 2-5pm. Unsold work can be picked up on Monday, March 1 between noon-5pm, or will be shipped back during the week of March 1, 2021.

All images must be submitted in JPEG or JPG format with a minimum size of 1,200 pixels on the longest side and maximum file size of 5 mb. Framed work must be fitted firmly in frame with wire for hanging, with no loose glass over mats. Gallery wrapped canvases are permitted. Poorly presented work will not be hung. All artwork must be available at the time of the exhibit and remain for its entirety. If work does not fully reflect what is represented in the JPEG, the Cultural Center reserves the right to eliminate it from the exhibition. Shipping, return shipping, and handling fees are the responsibility of the artist. Members of the Cultural Center are charged a 30% commission on all sales; non-members are charged a 40% commission. Juror selection is Director's choice, and no personal feedback is given by jurors.
