Open Theme Annual 2024

Webster Arts invites art submissions for the Open Theme Annual 2024, a national call for art in all media. This is an in-person exhibition open to all artists aged 18 or older residing in the US. Artists are encouraged to submit 2D and 3D work on any theme. Selected works will be shipped to or dropped off at Webster Arts by the exhibition opening on June 28, 2024.

Entry Deadline: May 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry Fee: $25 for the first three images, $5 for each additional entry up to 10 images. Submit up to 10 JPEG digital images (1000-1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 PPI, 5 MB maximum). Exhibition Dates: June 28 to August 2, 2024. Opening Reception: Friday, June 28 at 6:30 PM at Webster Arts, #2 Summit Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119. All artists will be notified by email on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Work Specifications: All mediums except video are accepted. Framed wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 48" x 48". All wall works on paper must be framed. Three-dimensional works must not exceed 32" x 32" x 60" or weigh more than 50 pounds. No ceiling-hung installations or unassembled work without detailed assembly instructions. All work must be original conception and execution of the artist; no reproductions or work previously exhibited at Webster Arts. An independent juror will select work for inclusion in the exhibit. Cash prizes: $250 Best in Show and one $100 Award of Excellence. Sales are encouraged; Webster Arts receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales.
