Open Theme Annual 2021

Webster Arts invites art submissions for the Open Theme Annual 2021, a national juried exhibition open to all artists aged 18 or older residing in the US or abroad. All media are considered with the exception of video. Juror Allana Ross, MFA will select pieces for this virtual exhibition.

Entry deadline is December 6, 2020. Entry fee is $15 for up to two entries, with $5 for each additional entry up to a total of 10 images. Submit up to 10 JPEG digital images (1000 to 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size). All work must be original conception and execution of the artist listed on the application and cannot have been previously exhibited in any Webster Arts gallery. The exhibition will consist of two- and three-dimensional work; no floor or ceiling installed work is permitted.

The virtual exhibition runs January 19 – February 28, 2021. All artists will be notified by email on December 21, 2020. A virtual Zoom reception is planned for January 19, 2021. Artist talks are planned via YouTube and Facebook Live, and every artwork selected will be featured on social media. Webster Arts receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales. Photographs of accepted artwork may be used for promotional purposes. Artists may be selected for solo or 2-3 person shows in the future.
