Open Studios Napa Valley 2025

Open Studios Napa Valley 2025 is an exhibition event taking place September 20-21 and 27-28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Artists may choose to participate both weekends or only one weekend at the same cost.

Entry fees are $325 for returning artists and $355 for new artists (includes $30 non-refundable jury fee). The application deadline is April 30, 2025. New applicants and returning artists who have not participated since 2020 must submit six images (5 low-resolution and 1 high-resolution catalog photo) of artwork completed within the last two years for jury review. Jury dates are May 3-10, 2025. If a new applicant is not successfully juried, the application fee will be refunded.

Digital image requirements: 6 images in JPEG/JPG format, minimum 1,200 pixels on the longest side, under 5 MB, sRGB color profile. Images should be labeled with last name, first initial, and image number (e.g., Smith, J, image 1). One high-resolution (300 dpi) catalog image is also required.

The majority of work on display must be original. A limited amount of manufactured work (prints, cards, giclées) may be offered for sale if created from the artist's original design and produced under the artist's supervision. Artists must be present at their location from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on each event day. All participating artists are expected to volunteer and help distribute catalogs. Each artist is required to include one piece in a group show at the Jessel Gallery. Artists are responsible for obtaining appropriate business licenses, California resale certificates, and liability insurance. Open Studios Napa Valley does not provide insurance or guarantee studio space but can recommend available locations.
