Open Studios Napa Valley 2024

Open Studios Napa Valley 2024 is an exhibition event taking place September 21-22 and 28-29, 2024, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Artists may choose to participate both weekends or only one weekend at the same cost.

Eligibility is limited to local California artists. Entry fees are $295 for returning artists and $330 for new artists (which includes a $35 non-refundable jury fee). New applicants and returning artists who have not participated since 2019 must submit five images of artwork completed within the last two years for blind jury review. All other submissions require 3-5 images in JPEG format, minimum 1,200 pixels on the longest side, under 5 MB, with sRGB color profile. One high-resolution catalog image (300 dpi) is also required.

The majority of work on display must be original. A limited amount of manufactured reproductions (prints, cards, giclées, etc.) may be offered for sale if created from the artist's original design and produced under the artist's supervision. All participating artists are required to volunteer to support the program. Artists must obtain their own business license, California resale certificate, and liability insurance. Open Studios Napa Valley does not provide insurance or guarantee studio space, though recommendations are available. Each artist is required to include one piece in a group show at the Jessel Gallery. Participating artists agree to complete a post-event survey and may be asked to collect visitor information at their studio.
