Open Juried Photography Exhibition

This open juried photography exhibition is hosted by MCGOPA and is open to current Associates and non-members, 18 years or older. Membership must be paid in full through 2024 to qualify for the member entry fee rate.

Entry fees are $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Prize awards include First Prize ($300), Second Prize ($200), Third Prize ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($50 each in gift certificates from Unique Photo). The entry deadline is March 28, 2024. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted and paid by the deadline.

This exhibition is open to original 2-dimensional art in photography only. AI-generated photographs will not be accepted. Accepted photographs must not be exhibited concurrently with an online show. All work must be framed, wired, and ready to hang—no saw tooth hangers or clip frames allowed. Exception: Gallery-wrapped canvases with a depth of 1 inch or more that do not require a frame. Maximum framed size cannot exceed 48 inches on the longest side, and work must weigh no more than 12 pounds. Photography containing nudes, religious, or political content will not be accepted. Accepted photographs must be hand-delivered to 431 Gallery. Once accepted, works cannot be withheld from the exhibition under penalty of a two-year exclusion from future juried MCGOPA exhibitions.

Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to include only the artwork itself without visible matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile for best results.
