About This Call
Artists and Charities Hand in Hand is seeking fine artists—painters, mixed media artists, photographers, sculptors, and jewelry designers—to participate in a juried fine art show at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The two-day event runs November 2-3, 2019 from 11 AM to 5 PM. Twenty percent of all art sales will be donated by the artists to The Armory Center For the Arts, the A.W. Dreyfoos School of Arts Foundation, and Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
Application is free. Accepted artists pay an exhibition fee of $1,000-$2,000 (depending on booth location) for a 10' by 10' booth with 7' high Pro Panel walls. An optional table with tablecloth is available for $25. Artists must submit 3-5 images representing a body of work. All artwork must be original, designed and created by the applying artist, and available for sale. Photography must be original images only, limited editions, and clearly signed and numbered. No commercial casts, production studio work, or factory-produced art is permitted. Collaborations of two artists are permitted in one booth if both artists sign each piece.
Application deadline is September 15, 2019. Artist notifications will be released September 30, 2019. Booth fees are due by October 15, 2019. Setup is 6 AM to 11 AM on Saturday, November 2. Artists must be present during all show hours. Each artist is responsible for collecting and remitting local sales tax to the Florida Department of Revenue. The curatorial committee will evaluate submissions for creativity, caliber, design, and originality. Once invited, artists must display work consistent with their submitted body of work but are not required to show the exact pieces submitted.
