Open Call for Art at Silverwood Park

Silverwood Park invites artists who are at least 18 years old and reside primarily in the Midwest to submit work for exhibition. This is an open call for art with a connection to the natural world. Work can be 2-D and 3-D, representational or abstract. Framed work should not measure more than 40 inches at greatest width or 48 inches at greatest length. 3-D work must fit on a 15 x 15 inch pedestal or be freestanding.

Application Deadline: August 21, 2016 by 11:59 pm. Notification by email September 12. Delivery by shipment September 26–October 4 or by drop-off October 1 and October 4. The exhibit opens October 13 with an opening reception from 6–8 pm and closes November 30. Artwork return is December 1-4 for artist pick-up or the week of December 5 for return shipping. Submit 1-5 images and one document including: name, telephone number, and email address; image information for each submission (title, dimensions, medium/process, year of completion, and optional note); one page resume; and one page artist statement. Artists are responsible for all shipping fees and insurance. Work must be ready to hang and framed with wire. Silverwood Park retains a 25% commission on work sold in the gallery.
