About This Call
The Idea Kitchen seeks Tri-State Area artists who investigate nature with the curiosity of a scientist and the eye of an artist. Work exploring botanical studies, urban ecology, scientific processes (cyanotypes, specimen documentation), natural systems, and close observation of overlooked landscapes are welcome.
Eligibility: Artists from NY, CT, or NJ, 18 years or older. Artwork must be wall-mounted, with dimensions between 16x20" minimum and 48x60" maximum. Entry fee is $20. Submission deadline is December 13, 2025.
The exhibition runs February 2, 2026 through April 30, 2026. Accepted categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture. Full details and submission form available at allisonbelolan.com/open-call-evident-nature.
