Open Call 2025 | Dama Gallery, Greater Los Angeles

Dama Gallery, LLC is a contemporary art gallery located in Ventura, California, dedicated to mid-career and established artists. The gallery considers submissions from non-represented artists for exhibition opportunities. Exhibition lengths vary from 1 to 3 months, with the number of pieces depending on the artist's medium and work sizes. Selected artists are invited to attend receptions, and a select few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions. Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for representation by Dama Gallery, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support.

Submissions must include 5-20 images of original, unsold artwork. The entry fee is $35 for 5 images, with an additional $5 per image up to a maximum of 20 images. Accepted media includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional work, digital art, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Dama Gallery retains a 50% commission on sales, with remittance to the artist occurring 5-7 business days post-exhibition or upon buyer payment finalization. Artworks are listed on Artsy for online market visibility.

Entries submitted on or before September 30, 2025 are considered for exhibition in Midtown Ventura, California. Entries are reviewed weekly with selections made throughout the month by the curator.
