Open: 2015 International Photography Exhibition

Amblewood Gallery is pleased to announce the Open: 2015 International Photography Exhibition, an open theme exhibition juried by Anne Berry, an internationally known and collected fine art photographer. Amblewood Gallery is located in Serenbe, a progressive community connected to nature and the arts just south of Atlanta, Georgia. The Open: 2015 Exhibition will coincide with the 2015 Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival, with Amblewood Gallery as one of 120 participating venues. Atlanta Celebrates Photography is the largest annual community-oriented photo festival in the United States.

Amblewood Gallery invites photographers from around the world working in all mediums, styles, and schools of thought to participate. Artwork must be photography-based and 20 inches or less in height and width. Photographers must be age 18 or older. The entry fee is $35.00 for up to five images. Entry deadline is September 24, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email on September 29, 2015, with a list of chosen artists posted on Amblewood Gallery's website.

If your image is chosen for the exhibition, it will be printed through Amblewood Gallery by a professional printer using archival pigment ink and dry mounted. An additional printing and mounting fee of $35 for one image or $55 for two or more images will be charged. The exhibition opens October 11 from 12 to 5 p.m., with a Juror's Talk on October 25 from 4 to 5 p.m., and closes November 1 at 3 p.m. All work accepted for gallery exhibition will be for sale unless otherwise noted by the artist. Amblewood Gallery will retain a 35% commission on sales, with proceeds paid to the artist within 30 days of the close of the show. After the exhibit, prints remain available for viewing at the gallery and can be shipped to the artist upon request within 7 days of exhibition closing.
