Ontario Festival of the Arts

The Ontario Festival of the Arts is a one-day event featuring local artists displaying and selling their work, along with free exhibitions at two museums, food trucks, a beer garden, and onsite ATM.

All artists must complete an application to be considered for participation. A jury from the Ontario Museum of History & Art and the Chaffey Community Museum of Art will review each application. If approved, artists will be notified by a member of the Festival Committee. The booth application fee is $75.00 and will not be collected until the artist has been accepted. The fee includes a 10'x10' canopy, one 6-foot table, and two chairs. Artists keep 100% of sales with no commission taken by the Festival. Additional benefits include assistance with setup and takedown, onsite Wi-Fi, a free social media kit, an event t-shirt, and promotional items.

Artists must submit a one-page artist statement, one-page resume, and 3 representative samples of artwork. All art must be original and made by the artist in attendance. Limited edition prints signed by the artist are permitted, but mass-produced prints are not. Functional, decorative, and visual works are all permitted, provided functional art shows creativity in form or design. Commercially created items that have merely been enhanced are not permitted. Art of an explicit nature that challenges community standards may be excluded. Eligible media includes 2-dimensional work (drawing/illustration, digital art, graphics and printmaking, mixed media, painting, photography) and 3-dimensional work (ceramics and pottery, fiber, found objects/assemblage, glass, jewelry, leather, sculpture, wood). Artists must be residents of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, or San Bernardino counties, with preference for residents of Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Corona, Fontana, Montclair, Norco, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, and Upland. Artists must be 18 years of age or older.
