About This Call
Now celebrating its 54th year, the Indy Art Center's OneAmerica Financial Foundation Broad Ripple Art Fair attracts an average of 10,000 visitors and offers an opportunity for the public to meet fine art & craft artists from the U.S. and Canada. The fair is open to all fine art and fine craft artists, with work in any fine art or fine craft medium that must be original and made by the exhibiting artist or artist team. Applications are free and accepted until midnight EST on January 21, 2026, with jury results emailed February 6, 2026.
The fair takes place May 16-17, 2026 (Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday 10 am – 5 pm) on the grounds of the Indy Art Center designed by Hoosier Architect Michael Graves and its 9.5-acre ARTSPARK. Located in the Broad Ripple Village Cultural District, the Art Center is next to the popular Monon Trail urban greenway. The event features extensive advertising and promotion worth at least $100,000, overnight roving security, a Friday Night Preview Party for select areas, artist and volunteer breakfast, and booth sitters available.
During the fair, an independent on-site juror will anonymously judge booths and award cash and re-invite prizes totaling $2,000. Artists must be present at check-in and in booths on both days of the fair, present with a white tent (no logos or colored tents permitted), and have an Indiana retail certificate for collecting sales tax. The fair serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the Indy Art Center, supporting outreach programs, year-round classes, free exhibitions, lectures and workshops.
