About This Call
An exhibition call to artists sponsored by Curator Mark Biletnikoff, B Curation, in cooperation with The Gallery at Manship, located inside the award-winning Shaw Center for the Arts. This exhibition explores the profound theme of "One Light," symbolizing the shared illumination that connects us all. Open to all media, artists are encouraged to explore literal light, examine its effects in daily life, or abstractly explore feelings of illumination and energy. The theme invites interpretations that weave together personal narratives with universal themes of spirituality, nature, and interconnectedness.
This is a national call open to all artists aged 18 and older, working in all media including painting, sculpture, textiles/fashion, dance, video/film shorts, performance, and more. Artists must submit 2-4 work samples, provide a brief artist statement (150-300 words), and pay a $45 application fee. All wall-mounted works must be gallery-ready for installation, and artwork must be created within the past 10 years. The final curated exhibition will feature up to 25 wall-mounted works with additional media encouraged, taking place in December 2026.
The top three artists will have their award-winning works showcased in a special follow-up exhibition, offering additional exposure and media attention. Artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the exhibition. Jury dates run from April 30 to June 30, 2026, with accepted artists notified following the jury process.
