On the Street: Street Photography Exhibition

On the Street is a street photography exhibition juried by Harvey Stein. The call invites photographers to explore street photography in its many forms, presenting largely unscripted reactions to the world around them. Submissions should capture chance encounters, random incidents, and meaningful images without preplanning or cooperation of models. Work from photographers engaged in long-term projects and social documentary projects are also welcome.

Eligibility: Artists of all levels who are at least 18 years or older. Open to all forms of photographic image-making in any process or technology, current or historical. Work must be your original creation and exhibition ready. Submit 3-15 photographs. Entry fee is $45 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image. Current RICPA members receive a 20% discount. Maximum size 48" including frame. Multiple pieces (diptych, triptych, etc.) may comprise one work.

Exhibition dates: September 18 - October 10, 2025. Reception and awards ceremony: September 18, 2025, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Delivery of accepted work due by September 13. Awards: First Place $250, Second Place $150, Third Place $75. In-person delivery accepted September 13, noon-5:30 p.m., or by appointment. Shipped work must arrive by September 13 with prepaid return label. RICPA retains 40% commission on sales (20% for Supporting & Exhibiting members).
