On the Edge — An Open Juried International Photography Exhibition

On the Edge seeks submissions that reference the balancing act that is the current state of the world, which appears in an unprecedented state of political, economic, social and environmental change. All forms of photographic processes are encouraged. The exhibition runs from February 27 to May 22, 2020, at Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main Street, Suite 8107, Pawtucket, RI 02860.

Entry fee is $30 for the first image and $12 for each additional image (up to 20 images). ALRI members receive a discount with a coupon code. Awards include 1st Prize $300, 2nd Prize $200, and 3rd Prize $100. The juror is Michael Itkoff, an artist and co-founder of Daylight Books. Notification of acceptance will be sent by January 26, 2020. Drop-off dates are February 20 (10am–3pm) and February 21 (noon–5pm). The juror presentation, reception, and awards ceremony is February 27, 2020 (5:15–8:30pm). Pick-up dates are May 26 (10am–3pm) and May 27 (noon–5pm).

All 2D media is eligible; no video entries accepted. Artwork must be original and exhibition-ready. Maximum size is 36" wide by 48" high including frame. Unframed work up to 20" by 24" may be submitted and will be hung using a magnet system. Artwork previously exhibited with ALRI is not permitted. Accepted work must remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibit. Shipped artwork is subject to a $15 storage and handling fee.
