Olde Town Shindig: Mural Fest

As part of this event, the Olde Town Arvada BID will be hosting a mural festival. Selected artists will be stationed throughout Olde Town Arvada and produce original work on an 8x8 primed panel during the event. This is an opportunity for artists to compete for awards and recognition, while also helping to raise awareness for the importance of art in public spaces.

The grand prize winner will be invited back to install a commissioned piece of art somewhere within the Olde Town Arvada BID. The commission will be up to $10,000 with the artist and business/property owner collaborating on the theme of the mural. At the conclusion of the festival, the Olde Town Arvada BID will be auctioning off all murals. Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Olde Town Arvada BID's mission of creating and nurturing a vibrant and inclusive community.

Event Dates: September 8-10, 2023. Painting dates are September 8-9, with winners announced on September 10. Location: Olde Town Arvada, Arvada, CO. Entry fee: $25. Eligibility: Must be regional and submit images or videos of past work. Up to 20 images or videos may be submitted.
