About This Call
The Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival is a two-day celebration of community and tradition held in Historic Fourth Ward Park (592 N. Angier Ave., NE, Atlanta, GA 30308). The festival features fine arts and crafts, a children's play area, local food and beverage concessions, and live acoustic entertainment. Approximately 100 artists participate in this annual event. Festival hours are Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am-5:00 pm. Event dates are September 26-27, 2026, with load-in on Saturday, September 26 from 7:30 AM-9:30 AM.
Artists must submit 5 images (a booth shot is required) and pay a $30.00 non-refundable administrative processing fee. The application deadline is August 10, 2026, with a purchase deadline of September 8, 2026. Artists must provide and prepare their own displays using white top tents of EZ UP quality or higher, weighted but not staked. Off-site artist parking will be available, along with on-street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
Accepted categories include 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing & Printmaking, Fiber, Glass, Handicraft, Jewelry, Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood & Furniture. Prohibited items include t-shirts and commercial clothing, posters, manufactured toys, commercially manufactured or reproduced items, jewelry made from more than 50% manufactured components, and items using commercially available molds or patterns. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales taxes at the current rate of 8% (Georgia 4%, Fulton County 3%, City of Atlanta 1%). A waitlist will be maintained, and artists who do not check in by Friday at 7:00 p.m. will be considered a no-show and forfeit their space. The event takes place rain or shine with no refunds for inclement weather.
