About This Call
The City of Olathe presents the Olathe Arts Festival, returning to downtown Olathe on October 10-11, 2025. This festival celebrates artistic excellence, bringing the community together to connect with talented artists, discover unique works, and purchase fine art in a vibrant, creative atmosphere. Attendees will experience a dynamic mix of fine art, shopping, live music, local flavors, interactive children's activities, and a fun fall fest theme. Fine arts will remain the focal point, with dedicated space for artists to showcase and sell their original works, highlighting artistic expression and mastery.
This application is for fine arts exhibitors only, with approximately 50 fine arts exhibitors selected through a juried process. Accepted media categories include 2D work (painting, drawing, photography, mixed-media, printmaking, digital) and 3D work (sculpture, jewelry, wood, metal, ceramics, clay, fiber, glass, stone). Mass produced, commercially manufactured and kit produced products are ineligible. Artists must be present during the entire event and personally staff their booth space.
Booth spaces are 10x10' with electricity access. The booth fee is $200 for artists bringing their own white tent or $350 for artists wanting a tent provided. Artist benefits include security, free bottled water, two free meal vouchers, free nearby parking, booth sitters for breaks, artist list on city website for promotion, no percentage collected on sales, and event advertising. Application fee is $25 (non-refundable). Applications open February 21, 2025 with a deadline of May 30, 2025. Artists will be notified of selection by July 11, 2025.
