About This Call
Oktoberfest is a festival featuring brews, food, live music, local artisans, and activities including dachshund races, stein-holding competitions, and yard games. The event is gated with free admission to guests and takes place outdoors at the foot of the SteelStacks at ArtsQuest campus on the first two weekends in October (October 2-11, 2026).
Both artist and non-artist vendors are accepted. Accepted artisan medium categories include Bath & Body, Candles & Home Scents, Food Products (pre-packaged, not consumable on-site), Graphics & Illustration, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Painting, Photography, Pottery, Textiles, and Woodworking. Retailer categories include Apparel, Accessories, Bath & Body, Food Products, Graphics & Illustration, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Pottery, Textiles, Woodworking, Experiential, Home Goods, Plants, Gemstones, and other categories as considered. Applications require 6 images with a booth shot required. The application fee is $27.00.
Booth space is 10' x 10' for both weekends at $650.00. Additional booth sizes are available with costs calculated based on square footage; availability is not guaranteed. Selection criteria include vendor experience with outdoor events, distinct product lines at varied price points, prior ArtsQuest participation, ability to operate within available resources (electrical and 10' x 10' space), and ability to provide own equipment (tables, chairs, tents, weights, lights, gridwall, etc.). ArtsQuest recommends 40lbs of weight per tent leg for outdoor events. Applications must be complete with proper documentation to be considered. Vendors may cancel participation at any time; full refunds of refundable fees are provided only if written cancellation notice is received within fourteen days of acceptance. Deposits and application fees are non-refundable. Notification of acceptance is May 15, 2026, with a purchase deadline of May 29, 2026.
