About This Call
Off The Wall is an exhibition held in the galleries of the Cultural Center of Cape Cod from November 24-December 4, 2021. The show is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. All fine art media will be considered except film. Work must not exceed 14 inches on the longest side, framed. Framed work must be fitted firmly in frame with wire for hanging with no loose glass over mats. Gallery wrapped canvases are permitted. Poorly presented work will not be hung.
Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Only submit work that will be available at the time of the exhibit and will remain for its entirety. If work does not fully reflect what is represented in the submitted image, the Cultural Center reserves the right to eliminate it from the exhibition.
JPEGs are due by October 31, 2021. Notification of acceptance will be sent by November 2. Local drop-off of work is Monday, November 22, between 8am-noon. Work being shipped must arrive by November 22 and no sooner than November 15. A closing reception will be held Saturday, December 4, from 2-5pm. Unsold work can be picked up Monday, December 6, between 8am-noon, or will be shipped back during the week of December 6. Shipping, return shipping, and handling fees are the artist's responsibility. All works should be for sale. Members of the Cultural Center are charged a 30% commission on sales; non-members are charged 40%. Images must be in JPEG or JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5mb.
