About This Call
Off Center: An International Ceramic Competition showcases innovation in ceramic techniques and vision from around the world. Blue Line Arts invites ceramic artists to share their work in this annual exhibition. The competition is open to all artists 18 and older, and is international in scope.
Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Applicants must submit 1-3 total samples with 1-20 images per sample. The deadline to enter is May 31, 2020. Artist notification will be sent June 15, 2020, with exhibition dates from July 31 - September 12, 2020. The opening reception is August 15, 2020 from 5 pm - 8:30 pm.
All accepted artwork must be for sale. Artwork cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts and must not differ significantly from the submitted image. Non-member artists receive a 50% commission from gallery sales; members receive 60%. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs using FedEx or UPS only (no USPS). Two-dimensional artwork must be ready to hang with wire installed (no sawtooth hangers). The juror is Jason Walker, a ceramic artist with extensive exhibition history and teaching experience.
