Off Center - An International Ceramic Competition 2023

Blue Line Arts announces the call for ceramic art for Off Center: An International Ceramic Art Competition. All forms of ceramic artwork are welcome including functional and non-functional pottery, abstraction, sculpture, multiple-piece installations, hanging pieces, jewelry, and mixed media.

Entry fee is $35, with an additional $5 per image for uploads beyond the first. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Submit 1-10 images of original artwork completed within the last two years. Artwork cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts and must be for sale. All 2-D works must be ready to hang. Artwork must be able to enter through doors with clearance of 94"h x 91"w, ceilings are 10 feet high, and nothing over 60 lbs will be accepted. Accepted artwork that differs significantly from the submitted image will be disqualified.

Entry deadline: March 1, 2023. Artist notification: March 10, 2023. Shipping deadline: March 24, 2023. Hand delivery: April 2-3, 10am-3pm. Exhibition dates: April 8 - May 20, 2023. Opening reception: April 15, 2023, 4-8pm. Work pickup: May 21-22, 10am-3pm. Guest juror: Garth Johnson, Paul Phillips & Sharon Sullivan Curator of Ceramics at Everson Museum of Art, New York.
