Off Center - An International Ceramic Competition 2022

Off Center is an international ceramic competition open to artists worldwide. The competition showcases ceramic work in all styles, from traditional to experimental. The guest juror is Rachel Gotlieb, Ruth Rippon Curator of Ceramics at the Crocker Art Museum.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older. All artwork must be original and completed within the last two years, and cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts. All 2-D works must be ready to hang, and all artwork must be for sale. Accepted artwork that differs significantly from the submitted images will be disqualified. No accepted entry may be withdrawn or sold outside the exhibition prior to the closing date.

Entry fee is $35, plus $5 per image for additional images beyond the first. Submissions must include 1-10 images. Artwork size must be able to enter through doors with clearance of 94"h x 91"w, ceilings are 10 feet high, and nothing over 60 lbs will be accepted. Exhibition dates: July 22 - September 17, 2022. Artist notification: June 17, 2022. Shipping deadline: July 1, 2022. Hand delivery: July 17 & 18, 10am-3pm. Opening reception: August 20, 2022, 4-8pm. Work pickup: September 18 or 19, 10am-3pm. Cash prizes: 1st place $500, 2nd place $300, 3rd place $100. Blue Line Arts handles all sales; non-member artists receive 50% commission, members receive 60% commission.
