October National 2025

October National 2025 is an open national exhibition at the Madden Arts Center, Anne Lloyd Gallery in Decatur, Illinois, running October 4-26, 2025. The entry fee is $40.00, and artists may submit 1-3 images of their work. All media are accepted.

Eligibility is open to artists 18 years old and over. Entries must be original design (no giclee or mechanical reproductions) and executed within the last two years. Wall-hung or 2D artwork must be framed or gallery wrapped, wired, and ready to hang, not exceeding 60 inches wide, 96 inches high, or 50 lbs. 3D artwork must be self-standing or fit on a 36 x 36 pedestal. All artwork must be able to be handled by one person, and no work can be suspended from the ceiling. Any accessories needed for display must be included.

Accepted work may be hand delivered or shipped. Artwork is due by September 30, 2025. Hand-delivered work is accepted during regular business hours, Wednesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Attach an identification label to the back of the work with the artist's name, title, and medium. Enclose return delivery costs and address label or prepaid shipping label with instructions for repacking. No loose packing materials unless enclosed in a sealed bag. Crates must be simple to open and reseal, not exceed 60 inches, and be able to be handled by one person. Indicate value for return shipping insurance if not waived. Artists acknowledge and agree to all show rules and give permission to photograph works for documentation, education, and publicity. The gallery reserves the right to install accepted works as deemed necessary for exhibition and/or security reasons. Communication will be by email when possible.
