October National 2024

October National 2024 is an open exhibition at the Madden Arts Center, Anne Lloyd Gallery in Decatur, Illinois, running from October 4-26, 2024. All media are accepted. The entry fee is $40.00, and artists may submit 1-3 images of their work.

Eligibility is open to all artists 18 years old and over. Entries must be of original design executed within the last two years. No giclee or other mechanical reproductions are accepted. Wall-hung or 2D artwork must be framed or gallery wrapped, wired, and ready to hang, not exceeding 60 inches wide or 96 inches high. 3D artwork must be self-standing or fit on a 36 x 36 pedestal. All artwork must be able to be handled by one person, and no work can be suspended from the ceiling. Any accessories needed for display must be included.

Accepted work may be hand delivered or shipped. Artwork is due by September 20, 2024. Hand-delivered work is accepted during regular business hours, Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Artists must attach an identification label to the back of the work with the artist's name, title of work, and medium. Return delivery costs and address label or prepaid shipping label must be enclosed along with repacking instructions. Crates must be simple to open and reseal, not exceed 60 inches, and be able to be handled by one person. Artists entering acknowledge and agree to all show rules and give permission to photograph works for documentation, education, and publicity purposes.
