October Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the October Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 square feet of display space featuring original exposed brick. The gallery has been in business for 10 years and is open full-time six days a week.

This group art show is open only to 2D artists and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery may select up to a maximum of 3 originals to exhibit. Artwork must not exceed 48" width x 72" height and must be wired on the back ready to hang. The entry fee is $30 for up to 5 entries. The exhibition runs from September 30 to October 29, 2020, with a First Friday Artist Reception on October 2nd from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Artists receive 75% of sales, with 25% going to the gallery. Payment to artists will be made by October 1st.

Local artists should deliver artwork September 25-26 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm both days) and pick up October 30-31 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm both days). National artists may ship artwork anytime after selection through September 26th and are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipped artwork must include a prepaid return shipping label using FedEx, UPS, or USPS in reusable cartons with reusable packing material. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks of the closing date. The gallery does not assume liability for loss or damage; artists are responsible for independently insuring their work. Artists must provide two tags per piece (no larger than 3.5" x 5") labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state.
