October Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the October Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for jury review. The entry fee is $30.00. Artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang, with a maximum display size of 48" width x 72" height. Artists must provide two tags (3.5" x 5" maximum) for each piece with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state.

The exhibition runs Wednesday, October 4th through Thursday, October 26th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on October 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Local artwork delivery is September 29th-30th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days), with pick-up on October 27th-28th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days). National artists may ship artwork anytime after selection through September 30th and must include prepaid return shipping labels. The commission split is 75% to the artist and 25% to the gallery. Artists will be paid by Wednesday, November 1st. The gallery will not assume liability for loss or damage; artists are responsible for independently insuring their own work.
