About This Call
A juried exhibition of artwork in all media with the primary component being text—letters, alphabetical characters, words, or any combination of shapes and symbols which might or might not be giving readable information. All uses of text to create images, concepts, or representation are eligible. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme very broadly to celebrate communication through visual images and written characters.
The exhibit is limited to entries from the Bay Area. Entry fee is $25.00, with an additional $15.00 media fee for additional entries. Submissions should include 1-10 images. Eligibility is restricted to local artists.
