About This Call
Observica contemporary art magazine invites submissions of original art for the 17th issue, the Impulse Edition 2022. The magazine is published in both online and high-quality print-on-demand versions in full-color glossy A4 pages. The magazine is accessible to thousands of art experts, collectors, art enthusiasts, galleries, museums, and art institutions from over 100 countries.
Each selected artist will receive 2 dedicated A4 colorful pages in the magazine. One page will feature the artist's photo and biography, while the other will present the artwork's image with artwork data, artist photo, and a lifetime active link with a QR code. Selected artists also receive a free online artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, a social media sharable artwork badge, and a digital certificate. Submission is free, but selected artists must pay a USD 200 selection fee to confirm acceptance for publication.
Artists can submit up to 10 pieces of original artworks in 2 and 3-dimensional media. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant, executed without instructor supervision, and preferably created within the past 5 years. There is no size limit. Only the artwork should appear in photos without frames or extraneous backgrounds. Artists must have all rights for publishing artworks internationally. Artworks containing pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or inappropriate or offensive content are not admissible. Entries must not be copies or derivatives of other copyrighted or published work. Selected artists may be asked to provide high resolution artwork photos if needed.
