About This Call
Observica, a Canadian contemporary art magazine published quarterly, invites visual artists worldwide to submit original artwork for the 27th issue Special Edition. The magazine is published in both online and high-quality print-on-demand versions in full-color glossy A4 format and is distributed to thousands of art experts, collectors, galleries, museums, and art institutions across over 120 countries.
Each selected artist receives 2 dedicated A4 colorful pages: one page featuring the artist's photo and biography, and another presenting the artwork's image with artwork data, artist photo, and a lifetime active link with QR code. Selected artists also receive a free online artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, a digital certificate, and lifelong links to boost online visibility and SEO. Submission is free, but selected artists must pay a USD 200 selection fee to confirm acceptance for publication. A moneyback guarantee is provided by Biafarin.
Artists can submit up to 10 original pieces in any visual art medium (painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, digital arts, photography, sculpture, etc.). Artworks must be entirely the entrant's own work, preferably created within the past 5 years, with no size restrictions. Artists must hold all rights for international publication. Submissions including pornographic, violent, or hateful content are not admissible. Entries must not be copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Selected artists may be asked to provide high-resolution artwork photos if needed.
