NWWS 2023 Annual Waterworks Online Membership Exhibition

The NWWS 2023 Annual Waterworks Online Membership Exhibition is open to all current NWWS members. The exhibition runs April 28 – June 30, 2023. Entry deadline is January 24, 2023 at 6:00 pm PST. Entry fees are $30 for one entry, $40 for two entries, or $50 for three entries, plus a $10 media fee. Up to three paintings per artist can be submitted, but only one painting can be accepted into the exhibition. Over $5,000 in cash and merchandise awards are available: 1st Place - $1,000, 2nd Place - $750, 3rd Place - $500.

Eligibility requirements: Artists must be 18 years or older and current NWWS members (membership dues are $45/year). All artwork must be original watermedia paintings completed after January 1, 2021, and not previously accepted into any NWWS juried exhibition. Paintings must be a minimum of 7" in any dimension. Watermedia must constitute 80% or more of the work; acrylics are allowed, but oil, water-soluble oils, and computer-generated art are not. Nude representations are not allowed. All entries must be for sale and priced with intent to sell. Once entered, the price cannot be changed. The artist receives 75% of the sales price, and NWWS receives a 25% commission on paintings sold before the exhibition opens, during the exhibition, or within 30 days of closing.

Image requirements: Submit 1-3 images as .jpg or .jpeg files, minimum 1200 pixels on the longest side, maximum 5 MB file size. Crop images to the displayed area only (no frame or mat).
