About This Call
Nuditas 2023 is an international juried exhibition celebrating the artistic expression of nudity and the human body. The exhibition invites visual artists working in any medium to submit original artworks exploring nudity, nakedness, and human form through abstract and representational interpretations.
Selected artworks will be showcased in an online group exhibition from September 25 to November 25, 2023. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 pieces selected per artist. Submission is free; a USD 35 selection fee applies only to selected artists. Work samples should include 1-5 images of original artworks.
Selected artists receive multiple benefits including online exhibition and promotion, publication in a digital and print exhibition catalogue, artwork reviews from visitors, digital promotional badges, a free artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate. Selected artworks may also be promoted for sales through the online exhibition, and some works may be published in magazines and books within the Biafarin art network. Artists receive regular reports with exhibition analytics, visitor engagement data, and sales statistics.
Eligibility is open to all visual artists worldwide. Accepted media include painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, metalsmithing, installation, jewelry, glass art, fiber art, textile arts, and mixed media. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no creation year limit. All styles and sizes are accepted. Artworks must be original works entirely created by the entrant, with no copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artists must retain all rights for international presentation and publication. Artwork photos should show only the artwork without frames or backgrounds.
