About This Call
Nude Nite - Orlando is a juried art exhibition held February 14-16, 2013 in a 25,000 SF warehouse space. The event showcases figurative works in various media including sculpture, mixed media, metal, oil, acrylic, watercolor, digital, photography, glass, woodcraft, found object and film. In its 14th year, Nude Nite is the largest nude art show in North America, featuring contemporary to traditional and abstract to literal interpretations.
Artists may submit up to 2 original works created after December 31, 2009. The $40 non-refundable application fee includes complimentary entrance to the event on the night of your choice. All works must be for sale and cannot be substituted once selected. Artists are responsible for providing their own insurance. The gallery operates on a 60/40 artist/gallery commission split. Accepted artists receive 3-night entry plus three guest passes. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email at least one week after the deadline, with instructions for delivery or shipping.
All accepted works must be "gallery ready" when brought to the event. Hanging works must include an installed horizontal wire. Works requiring pedestals must be provided by the artist and must be white, sturdy, and tall enough for the work to be near eye level. The Orlando and Tampa shows are juried separately, allowing artists to apply to both. For inquiries about content or special handling requirements, contact [email protected]. Installations, performance artists, and vendors should also email [email protected] for consideration with no submission fee.
