Nude Attitude

Nude Attitude is a juried exhibition organized by the Peoria Art Guild. The juror is Colin Nesbit, Director of University Galleries at Murray State University, with extensive curatorial and exhibition experience since 2004.

Submission Requirements: Artists may submit up to two original works of art created after December 31, 2008. All works must be for sale and in completed form. A non-refundable entry fee of $40 is required. Submissions must be uploaded in JPG format. The submission deadline is January 1, 2013, with award notification by January 15, 2013. Artwork shipment deadline is February 15, 2013, and the event takes place March 1, 2013.

Awards and Details: The exhibition offers $1,500 in cash prizes. Accepted artists receive complimentary event entry plus three guest passes. All accepted works must be gallery-ready with installed hanging wire. The gallery retains a 30/70 commission split on sales. While the show promotes a broad interpretation of the nude, it does not typically display works depicting arousal or graphic sexual genitalia. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements, as well as providing their own insurance. The Peoria Art Guild assumes no responsibility for damages during shipping or the event. Unsold work not picked up within 90 days of the exhibit closing becomes the property of the Peoria Art Guild. For questions about work content, contact the director at [email protected].
